Amazing sparkling wine — 4 years ago
Very unique wine with a slow building flavor. Earthiness, wood, Blackberry, blueberry, red pepper, and a full round mouth. Easy tannins with that slight satisfying effervescence. Beautiful wine — 4 years ago
Precise and fresh and balanced. Toasted coconut on the nose. Hints of flint. — 5 years ago
This was clearly California but in a restrained style. Cherries and baking spice. Really great after some air. Please try storm before Sandhi or other rich people’s wines in SB county. — 5 years ago
A very nice gift of a very nice wine. More stereotypical cali than my normal Sandhi chards. — 5 years ago
2017 Memorious Pinot Noir
2017 Bloom’s Field Pinot Noir
2017 La Côte Pinot Noir
2017 Sous le Chene Pinot Noir
2014 Sandhi Blanc de Blancs
All Pinot Noirs were delicious. Memorious tasted some spice with black pepper. Bloom’s Field showed darker fruits. La Côte was fuller in body and riper on aromas. Sous le Chene had the best concentration and the most complex profile with hint of wild bouquet. The Blanc de Blancs was refreshing with a tad of funkiness, possibly from VA and a little oxidation, 3 years on lees, all adding to the character.
What’s especial about Sous le Chene is that it’s sourced from this 10 rows of vines literally right next to La Côte but you can somehow really taste the difference between the two. — 6 years ago
Very much in the style of the Sandhi wines from Santa Barbara. Touch of flint, matchstick, lemon pie and cream. #oregon #chardonnay #eolaamityhills — 4 years ago
Wowee! Fab with maitake mushroom soba. Needs to breathe a bit as the finish is a little Bretty upon open but it blows off. — 5 years ago

Outstanding Syrah from Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley, a site Rajat Parr has been exploring for a number of years (some, in collaboration with Piedrasassi) to craft a California Syrah to match the northern Rhône best ones (if you've read Rajat Parr's Atlas of Taste, you know he's obsessed with Thierry Allemand). Lively, balanced, delicious. — 6 years ago

@Delectablewine This is RPWC’s Romance Chardonnay. Made from the first vintage of new plantings at Domaine de la Cote. In the Sandhi style. Light in color. Intensely lemon/lime, wet limestone, sea air. Assertive acid, especially up front, but balanced with a nice creamy roundness. — 3 years ago
