Have always adored these wines. Traditional, full of soul and character. Would never call this 15 years old, fresh as a daisy. Ripe citrus, grilled pineapple, golden apple, iodine, anchovy, damp earth, mushroom, spring honey, tarte tartin, herbs. The warmth of the year is present in its upfront fruit, but it all departs salty mineral with persistent cut. — 5 years ago
Can’t really find in the states, but man is it good. Has a slight salty finish and I could drink this all day. — 7 years ago
Salty bright fruit. Reminiscent of vermentino on the palate. Rich up front but cleans up big time. $13.49 — 7 years ago
The added sweetness of this Shows well. Love the salty component, with typical caramel. — 8 years ago
Strawberry and melon with a slightly salty finish. Fruity, crisp, and refreshing; perfect for a nice spring day. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — 4 years ago
Crisp. Pineapple and peaches marry with salty, nutty, oxidative notes. Light but textured. Leesy, with a long finish. — 5 years ago
Salty, lightly effervescent, minerality, acid — 6 years ago
Notes of citrus zest, saline, a bit salty and just a tad oxidative but not as much as typical savagnin. — 7 years ago
Deep gold in the glass. This bottle was super reductive at first; but behind the pungent barnyard was lots of smoke and flint, and a seriously loaded palate of stony minerals and firm, just-ripe tropical-leaning fruits. So concentrated on the palate with dried salty yellow plums and a sweetness of ripe apples on the finish. Delicious. Definitely needed a decant though. — 5 years ago
Salty, tart bomb, with some limestone on the palate. — 6 years ago
An excellent example of white Rioja! Very powerful blend of Viura and Malvasia riojana, ages very beautifully. Rich aromas of ripe peaches, yellow apples, hay, white flowers, fennel. Very warm and lingering aftertaste with salty notes. A nice vintage to enjoy now, but could easily wait another 10 years and remain almost the same — 7 years ago
Rounder than expected - almost Burgundian in a way. Salty and packed full of lime zest. Waxy texture. — 7 years ago

Non fortified Palomino from Jerez aged for 8 months in barrel under flor and bottled at 12% abv.
Clean, medium + intense aromas. Opens up with acetaldehyde, fermenting bread dough, and crushed almonds. The fruit entries with lemon juice and yellow fresh apples with a present chalky and sea shell, salty minerality. Fresh acidity, drying chalky texture, flavours of lemon juice, nuts, chalk and bread dough, linear mid palate and a good but not impresscive finish — 4 years ago
