Wonderful wine, strong enough to cope with our banoffee trifle.
But drink up, cuz there are some oxidative metallic notes emerging...

Nose shows dried apricot and cherry,
palate still reasonably fresh and vivid, grilled pineapple, apricotmarmelade, oriental spice and an enormous acidity. Still interesting and certainly enjoyable, but I suppose this is not how it’s ought to be... — 6 years ago
