Une autre belle bouteille de ce beau premier cru, un fruit énergique, éclatant, épicé, terreux légèrement et avec des tannins ayant de la poigne mais aussi une belle fraîcheur et longueur fort appréciable. 92-93
Another great bottle if this nice “premier”, fresh, energetic and gorgeous fruit, spicy, slightly earthy and with a medium plus bodied palate and tannins, good length as well. — 4 years ago
Dare I say a perfect Pommard village. This is exactly what Pommard should taste like. In perfect balance. — 4 years ago
Tart cherry notes mix with nice floral elements. The palate is nice but lacks some complexity. Finishes with a brambly characteristic - maybe some whole cluster here? — 7 years ago
Suave, polished. Drinks up from the appellation; excellent value. Boysenberry, plums and some spice. Lifted and fresh; very typical of the best ‘14s, with very soft tannins. A grower I’ve admired for 25 years, at the top of his game. #philipperossignol #burgundy #pinotnoir — 7 years ago
Amazing lightness and finesse with spicy notes on the finish. Tart cherry and sous-bois. This doesn’t need any more aging — 8 years ago
Du fruit rouge à revendre qui se retrouve en bouche aussi, une acidité appuyée avec des tannins qui ont une texture de bouche très approchable, c’est frais, généreux, sérieux et délicieux. 91-92
Gorgeous red fruit on the nose and palate, generous wine with an acidity that is high but brings freshness and such a nice silky texture on the slightly grippy tannins, simply beautiful. — 3 years ago
Drank in 2021. Delicious. Opens nicely with an expected bouquet - another reviewer called it “old school.” It’s subtle and good friendly. Paired extremely well with a pasta dish with slightly sweet sausages, mozzarella and spinach. Also lovely to enjoy on its own without food but some good conversation — 4 years ago
Decanted for 30 min, drunk from Zalto Burgundy, approachable but still more years to come. Nose fresh raspberries, some cherries, taste wonderfull backbone and great aftertaste. Love it, last bottle of 2009. — 7 years ago
Fantastic nose: rose petals, stone fruit, light pomegranate. Palette: silky, subtly sweet cherries with a hint of mint cream, light to medium body. Finishes with light tannins and minerals - so this is why Burgundy is Burgundy. Love it! — 7 years ago

Fantastic expression, went beautifully with steak — 4 years ago
Pop-n-pour, without some air time there wasn’t much depth. — 6 years ago
This was the wine of the night. 2006 and still had a lot to show. Great balanced acid across the palette with cherry and a nice funk on the nose. Great value. — 8 years ago
