Rossese to the highest standard, a little jewel. Wonderful small winery growing organic vines according to a nature-respectul philosophy. The wine is pure, emotional, evocative of the marvellous landscapes it comes from. If you find it, I can only recommend to buy enough. — 6 years ago

Cherries and bright, purplish red fruit, herbal elixir and white pepper on the nose. Completely transparent, its sweetness paired with a subtly bitter herbal finish, and intense minerality. Beautiful vintage for a beautiful wine. Very much signals its shared identity with Italian Rossese. — 4 years ago

Свекла, красная слива, брусника, сухая черника, вишневая косточка, чёрный перец, марганцовка, крошеный камень, легкая солоноватость во вкусе. Средне-легкое тело с хорошим напряжением, активной, но не слишком нервной кислотностью и мягким танином. Собранно и подтянуто, с нетяжёлой, естественной концентрацией. Вначале фрукт сух и неярок, подчинён минеральной структуре, при аэрации и нагревании вырастает в объёме, но не доминирует. Естественно, неглупо и с характером. — 7 years ago

Haven’t had this wine for several years but I feel Pigato had a moment in NYC back in 2016/2017 along with Rossese. Salty and sea breezy. Nice minerality. Not intensely powerful or searing like a chablis, but quite nice. — 3 years ago
