Medium to full body. matured red berries on one side and earth pine tree notes. Well done. — 3 months ago
Nose is classic Touriga National violets, cherry liqueur, and earthy crushed stone. Soft and mouthfilling, it’s intensely minerally on the palate, with enough dark cherry extract fruit to keep it from being too one-dimensional. Tannins are super-soft, and there is abundant acidity.
UPDATE. A few hours later interesting notes of cinnamon are emerging. — a month ago

This is 100% Mencia, not a blend. And it was one of the best Mencias I have had. — 9 months ago

Austere yet so elegant. And still so very young. Needs time!
Enticing nose with violets, orange zest, dark cherry, wet slate, smoke, roast, raw beef, cloves & allspice. Evolves as it opens up.
Pure & vibrant on the palate. With fresh, juicy acidity, cool freshness & mineral depth. The tannins are amazing - so polished, finely grained, juicy. Poised, elegant, and yet uncompromising. A beauty & will get even better with some age! Wow! — 5 hours ago
