Chris Berg has his act together. This is an wine supple and divine bringing soil to the forefront classically. Grateful to taste — 9 years ago
Really reminds me of burgundy. Neutral oak. Has a bit of that burgundy gym sock action going on. Lots of pretty, wild dandelion flowers. Great acid. — 10 years ago
Good concentration and good balance between sweetness and spicy. @, vinsamble, 190207 — 5 years ago
Floral and peppery, oak and vanilla, low tanning, long finish. — 6 years ago
Color of nice light gold. Nose is quite decent with ripe tropical fruits, like mix of ripe banana, pineapple, and mango, a bit nutty, and a bit sprite. Taste is fainter with too much emphasis on the bittersweet zesty note, some saltiness, and indeed some fermented grains and plummy. Aftertaste is again a bit salty but too much bittersweet. She is ok. — 6 years ago
Good wine. Almost a 9 — 7 years ago
The Osteiner grape is a German grape variety created from crossing of Riesling and Silvaner. Despite its German roots, Rippon is perhaps the most notable producer of this variety. Nose of lemon, lime, ripe melon and white fresh florals. On the palate, fresh, clean, round and brilliant. Beautiful acidity, lemon, lime, melon, stone fruits, pear, fruit blossoms and citrus peel. Another photo of their amazing view and owner Jo Mills with my wife. Jo is such a great host with amazing passion and energy for making great wine. — 7 years ago

I still love this Pinot but the 2011 was amazing I drank at least a case. It does not have the same feel seems more heavy with darker fruit notes. — 7 years ago
