Good wine for a nice Italian dinner. Pairs well with a variety of food. Not incredible, but not going to break the bank either. — 7 months ago

Drank this on our last night in Wyckoff! — 5 years ago
Won this at an auction event. The lot included a tasting and we were impressed as first time tasters. This bottle didn’t impress. Hopefully the rest of the bottles will be better. — 3 months ago
Nice robust but light. Red current, cherries, and tobacco. Lots of tannins, some acidity, well balanced. — 6 months ago
Medium ruby , medium ruby garnet rim . Quite aromatic , cedar, red cherry , cut herbs , and a slight meaty , soy , balsamic touch . On the palate quite lean red fruits and some dark cherry , blackberry , cedar , liquorice with a herbal tinge . Gritty tannin , quite high acidity . Slightly short and lean on the finish . This is drinking at peak now , doesn’t have the structure or density to last so would recommend to drink over the next 3-5 years . — 6 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Consistent throughout. The 2019 “La Rocca” pours a bright, deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe, squishy tropical and orchard fruit: pineapple, apricot, yellow flowers, nuts, saffron and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, elegant with a silky texture. This worked wonders with homemade Runza’s. This is a significant step up from the Soave Classico. Drink now through 2034. — 3 months ago
