Very nice, Riesling is dominant, pear, nectarine, lime, muscat grapes — 18 days ago
This one was a gift. I don't think I would have reached for it myself as it seems like a gimmick, but I'm glad I'm trying this. The nose is all blueberry... That first sip pours it on again. It's a whole field of blueberries here on the palate. This merlot style is as if a delicate California Petite Sirah grew a pair. It feels muscular thanks to the tannic profile here, but it's by no means a monster either. Vanilla is featuring here. It gets interesting again on the finish as I get a quick flash of molasses presumably from the rum then back to a decent length of that blueberry. — 13 days ago

This is a very tasty chardonnay from Alexander Valley.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and spicy.
Showing lemons, apples, pears, red chili pepper, spices, Cedar and vanilla.
Not too oaky which is nice for me.
A good quality wine.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Ahh what a nose. Lime and tropical go so well together like ebony and ivory. Gorgeous ripeness but also insanely deep and fresh minerality. Tree bark. Citrus rind. Spice. So complex like only the St. Peray master can do. Palate is pitch perfect. Ripe, energetic, linear with the appropriate amount of gras and offsetting tension. So concentrated yet lithe and playful. Never heavy but has a skoche of a heaviness aspect. Just divine. — 13 hours ago

That feeling when you want a gussied-up, old-school California white from an old-school patch of land. Clearly barely-fermented and with high aspirations, this shows a nice toasty, butterscotchy overlay on grassy, intense, green melony fruit. Great intensity of flavors and crisp, lip-smacking acids carry through on the long finish. It almost seems like it needs a year or two more to come together. This transports me back to the reserve Fume Blancs of the late 1970s. Whic is exactly what it wanted tonight. — 9 hours ago
