Well an excellent CA style Merlot tempered and refined by age! The winemaker’s handiwork still detectable? — 5 months ago
Delicious. Nose of dark fruit and pepper. Cassis, strawberries, low tannin — 6 months ago
Full of character. Cedar comes through strong. Earthy with a heavy finish. Quality wine, but not sure if it’s worth the $. — 9 months ago
Darker red fruit with cedar, mushrooms, and subtle forest floor. Spices and clove. An amazingly fresh wine worth enjoying now! — 3 months ago
Clementine, peach skin, decent acidity. — 4 months ago
This has softened considerably since my last bottle several years ago. Nose is complex, with earth, cedar, cigar box, and an incense-like note. In the mouth, it’s rich but medium-bodied. The tannins that were so prominent a few years ago have significantly resolved. Entering (finally) its drinking window. — 8 months ago

Medium body with elegant finish. Dark fruits, some earth, and some hints of spice. Yummy wine. — 3 months ago
Still got it! Deep golden color. Apricot, bergamot, soft anise. Light textured on the palate. Only 8% ABV, easy to drink. Not too sweet. Amazingly approachable. — 3 months ago
Excellent wine with opulent black fruit - blackberry, cassis, black cherry, eucalyptus, violet, vanilla, cedar and clove. Tertiary notes are beginning to emerge - forest floor, leather, tobacco and dried cassis. Rich texture but well balanced despite 15.5% abv. Long finish, outstanding quality. — 4 months ago
A Burgundian-styled Cab Sauv from the one of the most compelling Sub AVA of Napa mountains (Mayacamas) which has an amazing soil and solid influence from the Pacific. Crafted with an amazing balance of 68% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot, 5% and the rest to round it off its structure and age ability. The 2011 is still climbing to its peak. Enticing notes of dry red fruits on the nose and mouth, delicate, outstandingly silky and nearly perfect balance!
The finish shows its beauty. (if you find it, it won’t disappoint you) it will give the run for the money. — 10 months ago

2001 vintage. Excellent fill. Used a Durand. Cork perfect. Decanted with expected sed and tasted after 2 hours. Medium body but dark as a closed closet. Dirty graphite nose that rang true in the flavors with some restrained plum, cherry and Valrhona chocolate as the backing, rhythm section. Miles to go before it sleeps. Pretty close to the top of the bell curve now. Wow. 10.17.25. — 2 months ago
