Fun wine. Strong oxidized notes with nuttiness. Floral acidity up front with an underlying hint of sweetness. Would love it if the flavors and aromas lingered longer. — 2 years ago
With 69 percent Cab and 31 percent Merlot, this blend has smoothed Tannins. Not very complex probably a product of the NY Cab, but an easy drinking wine. August 2023. — 3 years ago

Great structure with body, grippy tannins, strong acid. The flavor takes me to cider town. Left me wanting more. — 5 years ago
Light, but still full bodied. Paired it tonight with the steak recipe the winery suggested, and it was amazing! — a year ago
This is very much like a Bourgogne Rouge or Sancerre rouge from a top-tier domaine. Pale color. Very precise nose shows deep, just-ripe, pure cherry, a slight herbal note, and lots of crushed stone, seemingly on the limestone end of the spectrum. Intense but light-footed in the mouth, there’s deep, tart-but-ripe cherry fruit initially, turning savory and minerally on the long finish. Crisp acids. Very nicely done. Thanks to my brother Angelo for the gift! — 2 years ago
Nose is closed but gives up scents of blueberry strudel, stony gravel, violets. Medium bodied, but tightly coiled. A bit shy, but there’s a nice depth to the flavors, which are of dark berry and cassis, with a nice underlying minerality. Good but soft acids, and some very fine grained tannin. This will certainly develop nicely over the next few years. — 3 years ago

A nice white blend that is probably more semi-sweet drinks easily as a semi-dry due to being mildly bubbly. Went very well with a Christmas ham dinner but nice even by itself. — 4 years ago
A little reward for one of the cooks (me) after getting the Christmas Eve meat sauce simmering. (My sister-in-law is doing the fish sauce, if you’re wondering.) Fresh, appley, minerally nose. Very perfumed and deeply aromatic. Great balance on the palate. Bone dry, some fruit, deep stony minerals. Crisp acids. Lovely. — a year ago

Excellent. Mineral - driven with peach/ citrus and a lengthy finish. Just fun to sip with apps. Ravine’s rieslings hit. — 2 years ago
Beautiful balanced moderate acidity PN aroma — 3 years ago
This is the 2019 Chef & Winemaker Cask Aged Dry Riesling (Finger Lakes). My brother said he bought it from Ravines, so it has some connection to them obviously. Nose exhibits some new oak toast, but underneath is crisp, minerally Riesling fruit. On the palate there’s a similar progression: it’s full, with an initial whack of oak followed by lean, austere, minerally Riesling. Unique but I like its individuality. — 4 years ago

Delicious combination, especially for the Finger Lakes. Smoky finish, sweet. — 5 years ago
Impressive. An old vintage but still full of potential. Great length, nearly perfect acidity. Strawberry flavour. — 5 years ago

Blend of Riesling, Valvin Muscat, and Gerwetztraminer. Off dry, very floral. Lemon- lime, crisp and bright. Good acidity- finish is a little thin- but quite refreshing. I’m not a huge fan of off- dry whites, but this is pleasant — 10 months ago
