Very good quality with a solid expression of its provenance and a good length. Bruised apples, yeast, bread, iodine and a dry chalkiness puts this right where it belongs a good concentration on the palate which could last longer. As all serious sherries it is performing well above its price which takes you the question that everyone ask themselves, why don’t I drink more sherry? — 5 years ago
Saca febrero 2017. Tried 6 months later, fab value for money, a more fino amontillado style... Im definitely a fan!! Will be trying again definitely. — 7 years ago
Cant get much better than this. Unless youre getting some tangy sheep's cheese out to go with it... Well worth booking and visiting the bodega in Jerez too. Artesanal small-scale production with a personalised tour. — 7 years ago
Not Sherry. not not delicious. — 8 years ago
Tastws like an en rama- rich for a manzanilla, & w precision. Very good, — 9 years ago
Palo Cortado with awesome intensity of both aroma and flavor. — 9 years ago
18+ best of my Palo Cortados. Has the refinement of an en rama with weight and length. Might marginally prefer Hart Bros (Hidalgo) manzanilla en rama for its bracing attack as an aperitif, but this perhaps better with food- should do comparative tasting — 9 years ago
The aroma is so rejuvenatingly fresh. Birch juice, honeyed pear, green apples, yeast, green olives, and ocean breeze. Very long tangy finish with a touch of butterscotch. Very crisp, rounded, softened around the edges - there’s some pungency to it but it’s integrated. This is the most drinkable of the en rama sherries I’ve tried. Note that this is the 2014 bottling, 4-5 yr aging. — 10 years ago

Special-complex, layered: Marconi almonds, salt, soy notes. 17$ treat to self — 6 years ago
Lovely manzanilla but not mindblowing by any means. I look forward to trying more en rama versions from this bodega. — 7 years ago
Happy New Year!
Maybe the Michel Arnould old vines powerhouse is too serious for a lighthearted celebration, but it was just right for father and son wine geeks having New Years dinner alone together for the first time since 1999.

Strong, reminds me of a fino en Rama. Quite a yeasty taste but very powerful. — 9 years ago
Rama lama ding dong — 11 years ago
Medium lemon color with medium+ aromas of dried fruits, green olives, bread dough, nuts and citrus notes. On the palate this dry Sherry shows flavors of dried apricots, almonds, black currant leaf and citrus zest. Long finish ending with briny, salty character. Very good, drink now no bottle aging benefit. Tasting Sample. — 5 years ago
My first en Rama sherry. It was very unique. It had that unfiltered mouth feel to it, sweet, nutty, and it grew on me over the month I kept the bottle refrigerated. Excellent!

Smooth mineral aroma. Acidic salty taste and a full body. Better after opening. — 9 years ago
Fresh yet mealy with plenty if dough, cream & apricot pastry, something that is reminiscent of en Rama sherry. Incredibly light in the mouth, barely any bubbles but there is a great complexity, grip and acidic power here with rich citrus fruit cheese cake finish — 9 years ago
