Pronounced dark berries, subtle sweetness. Very round. Quiet tannins. Pairs great with peanut butter cups. — 9 years ago
A young 2009. Ridiculously smooth tannins. At the same time big and quiet. Like I told someone today, good looking but a bit of a lunk head... — 10 years ago
A bit quiet for Musar — 10 years ago
2014 tasting great. Bottling at end of April. Floral, soapy character. On lees at moment. Fermentation notes will resolve in bottle. — 10 years ago
Like eating white-fleshed peaches from a hand-hewn flint knife. A wine to harden one's resolve. — 9 years ago
My greatest passion wine. A deep quiet stable flavor. Perfect with chocolate. — 9 years ago
Probably the 10th time I've drank this. I seem to prefer much more quiet environments for this wine and in environments of too much intensity it can seem almost as if there is nothing here. She is a soft spoken woman with much to say. Careful putting yourself in situations where you can't here her beautiful voice. Chicken? Yes. All is in balance and harmony on the hautes cote. — 10 years ago
whoa. white fleshed fruit, stony, peppery finish. Demanding my attention in a very quiet way. — 10 years ago
2009 vintage on 2/24/15. First sip was quiet, but flavor really came out with food. Paired with a great beef dish at Stripsteak in Miami. — 10 years ago
Brought this on vacation to West Palm with Jamil, when we're ready for some quiet time gotta grab a bottle of this! — 12 years ago
Light reddish ruby. Brickish rims. Light nose of berry and mocha, some soil. Quiet in the mouth. Fruit has faded and air didn't help. — 9 years ago
Brief decant then enjoyed with a duck breast au poivre. Old school, un-spoofy Bordeaux. Still young, showing cassis, cedar, green olive, a touch of saddle leather. Missing toasty oak, gobs of any damn thing, fruit munitions, or any sort of jacked jelly donut bullshit. Glad this is still made. 1000 Points. Re-buy? Damn right! I'd hold and wait for it to resolve more. Oh yeah, listening to "Hunky Dory." Goes really well with 'Andy Warhol.' — 10 years ago
A fine, lean and quiet example of this rare breed. — 10 years ago
2007 vintage. Medium ruby. Pronounced on the nose. Fresh blackberry, dark plums and cinnamon spice. Quite heady. On the palate, high acidity, medium plus body, high alcohol, high flavour concentration. Fairly toasty and smokey - wood influence. Raging, grippy, chalky tannins - yet to integrate. Fairly long, fruity finish. Blackberries to the fore, something leafy developing. Still way too young. But clearly will be extremely good in 5 plus years when the tannins resolve themselves. — 10 years ago
Sunday night, quiet night end of the weekend — 10 years ago
Really really kinda loved this. Leather, quiet tannins, mellow unjammy fruit. — 11 years ago

A stunning example of quiet composure and authenticity. Smoky dark berry & earthy character wraps around the astonishing, still-present acidity. Draws you in like listening to Sketches of Spain. Fantastic and full of life. — 9 years ago
