Fun mini vertical for Mother's Day weekend. 2010 showed well after 2 hrs in decanter. Garnet color with a perfumed nose. Palate showed some oak while the vibrant fruit was delicious and shows promise. 2005 displayed more secondary notes with an earthy, spicy flavor profile. — 8 years ago

A luscious promise in a bottle, rich, boldly aromatic and loaded for bear with cocoa powder and oaky tannins. It tasted like the early morning earth smelled on my last bike ride through Yountville flats. So primary, like just bottled. A treat from my favorite waiter and off of coravin. Heavy scents of cherry that would s evolving to include vanilla and eucalyptus. Dried fig, leather and spice. The tannins have mellowed and is pretty lush. Just really starting to open up, but shows great promise! Can’t wait to try the 2008 in my cellar! — 7 years ago
