Strawberry & rose notes — 6 years ago
Pretty darn amazing Languedoc courtesy of our friends from Paris. Four evolving layers of berry, then tobacco then great high notes. No way you can find this stateside. — 7 years ago
Today's lesson is on patience. Over a 24 hour period this showed quite a bit of promise. That's all it showed th0...it was worth opening and checking out and ''twas quite gorgeous where it was but this will reward sitting around for a while. Real chambolle in this bottle, don't be fooled. — 7 years ago
This was nice but nowhere near as good as the price. Had a 50 dollar cab blend next to this and there wasn't much difference. — 7 years ago
Great fruit forward Pinot noir — 6 years ago
Youngish, which is to be expected for Raffault. Full of promise, revisit in five years — 7 years ago
A luscious promise in a bottle, rich, boldly aromatic and loaded for bear with cocoa powder and oaky tannins. It tasted like the early morning earth smelled on my last bike ride through Yountville flats. So primary, like just bottled. May be as good as the Pedregal of '08 but we won't know for 5+ years. — 7 years ago
Nice wine in Thanksgiving. — 8 years ago
Good but too tight as others have said. It’s just too young. Certainly has incredible promise and strength now. But the 2014 has not found its way here in late 2019. It’s a wonderfully extracted and potent cab. Give it some time and it will likely yield outstanding rewards. - cheers — 5 years ago
2014 tasted shortly after distribution release. Of course it’s hound and tight. But it’s good. Wound tight with a lot of promise. — 7 years ago
Obvious needs some time in the cellar but it's an exquisite wine — 7 years ago
Opened it too early. Lots of promise for the future bottles I have. — 7 years ago
2000 Mouton was the wine of the night for many including me, 2005 was no slouch and showed very good promise.
Dense, polished and powerful in every aspect, the glass and palate were overflowing in sensory overload of heavenly dark red fruits, cherry, cassis and currants galore, truffle scents, smoke and toasty sweet oak highlights are perfectly integrated.
Bonkers expressive and layered, with a finish that lasts gosh knows how long.
