Clear and medium deep appearance ruby garnet core and bricking garnet at the rim . Deeper and richer than the more fragile 78 , needs a bit of time to unfurl in the glass . More sous bois , red fruits , spicy tobacco , touch of cassis and grafite notes. Very nice balanced acidity with good projection of red fruits on the palate , touch of spicy tobacco but rounder , denser and riper than the 78. Fills out on the palate and on the finish, with good balance and length . This you can imagine being at its apogee and staying here for a further 5 years? — a year ago
Unexpected delight. Decanted and allowed to breathe for about half an hour. Deep ruby color, good legs. Fragrant, fruity nose. First sip was meh. Second sip…it sprang to life. Rich cherry and blackberry. Hints of oak, vanilla, and cocoa. Tannins mellowed out and the acidity softened. Thought this was going to just an okay wine. I ended up enjoying it more than I thought. Would happily purchase again. — 9 months ago

Perhaps my drinking range projection on release was a little over stated (3-5Y), as tonight with a 1.5H decant, fruit is abundant, raspberry/cherry jam, lovely. Drink now? — a year ago
Quite characterful and interesting on the nose , nice red fruits , crunchy berry, floral also. In the palate , showing nice ripe tannins and good projection of fruit. Long on the palate . Nice balance , a really good mini Barolo. — 5 years ago
Sublime. Great silky balance and delicate earthy nose and palate. Great finesse. Great nose projection. — 8 years ago
2015 vintage. Last tasted 8.7.22. Rated 9.3. The spearmint and smoke fully invested in the nose. Medium body. Mushroom, coffee grounds, toffee, cinnamon, raisin still in the flavor profile. Tannins holding court on the finish. Initial impression was that the tannins were powdery but with a little bit of airtime, the tannins picked up serious steam. Best showing out of multiple bottles tasted in the last two years. Tasting now like top of the bell curve/the optimal pleasure zone will be roughly 2029-2039. Enough stuffing/fail safes to conservatively support that projection. — a year ago
On the Lawn for Sting tonight!
Very floral, needing several hours to open up. Guessing the '14 is going to peak in about two years.
Day 5: Finally finishing this bottle, not sure how this is possible, but the acidity actually picked up! New projection is another 3+ years of life left. Beautiful. — 7 years ago

floral, a little spicy, very dry. Maybe projection, but I notice the cactus water and it’s pleasent. Good and unique IPA. — 2 months ago
