Ponte Di Piave

De Ponte Cellars

D.F.B. Dundee Hills Melon de Bourgogne 2023

This vintage is more acidic than others I’ve had. Pairs well with rare tuna and miso glazed carrots — cuts the umami with acid and a hint of fruit. White peach and lychee play with clean mineral notes. — 3 days ago

De Ponte Cellars

Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2016

Lots of red fruit — raspberry, dark cherry — plus blackberry underneath. Vanilla and cola notes, along with some forest floor earthiness. Easy to drink 7 years in. More fruit forward than other vintages I’ve had. Quite good. — 6 months ago

Inky ruby. A bit effervescent. White pepper, mushroom, strawberries, and raspberry. Savory more than fruity. Fairly light and very smooth. — 4 days ago

Cantina Conselve

Ambasciatore Friularo (Raboso Piave) 2016

Very nice. Prominent oak, deep fruit, some cocoa and spice. Reminiscent of a lighter failed-back Amarone or Valpolicella Ripasso. — 6 months ago

Ponte Vecchio

Chianti Sangiovese Blend 2021

Has a light fragrance of spice and dark berries. Drinks smoothly and is light on the palate, while having some body and having a nice jammy feel and flavors!
Definitely worth the $20-$25 from Costco for the big 3L bottle!!

Baldwin Family Reserve Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2012

Exceptional small production, Goldilocks vintage, 2012. Full palette, significance of soil, layers of flavors roll throughout. Delightful stink of the barnyard so to speak. Loved it. — 4 years ago
