I had a long note for this. I went to take another sip before finishing the note and the app lost it. The sip was more important and more valuable than the note. This is the height of Nebbiolo and Barbaresco. My patience was incredibly rewarded. This has the stuffing to go the distance but I didn’t miss a thing at 18 years. Served blind and I enjoyed the expression on other people's faces. Truly, it's a hidden gem. Intense and rewarding. Baked apples, sunflower oil, toast and amber. Well balanced, it has good (e.g. high) acidity and long persistent and flavourful aftertaste. Again, it's not complex yet delicious and well made. Good choice for those who enjoy Champagne.
