Good start to the NYC trip — 8 years ago
Beautiful garnet color in the glass. Light nodes of dark fruit, rose petals and spices on the nose. Elegant tastes of blueberries, dark cherries, cinnamon and a little star anise on the finish. A very nicely structured wine with sleek tannins and just the right acidity. The Cabernet grapes for this wine come from a great area of Oakville as they stared at Screaming Eagle's grapes growing just across the fence line. One of my favorite small, family owned wineries in Napa. — 8 years ago
Great smell nice wine. Dry finish. American fence oak CasaB 9.80 — 8 years ago
Great wine for value - very fruit forward, dark cherry, blackberry and plum, with bold flavors and slight sweetness - excellent for every day drinking — 8 years ago
Focused, laser fruit wearing an herbal skirt. What pinot would be after 6 weeks with Mr Miyagi. Paint the fence, Tegan-san. — 9 years ago
Black currant, tobacco leaf, dark berries and strong oak presence, was on the fence at first but as it breathes gets better and better — 9 years ago
Very promising youngster from just over the fence! Good on ya Armando & Anthony! — 10 years ago
I don't like Pinot Noir but I really like this one from Oregon. — 11 years ago
A savory Chardonnay with a slightly sweet initial taste, and strong savory finish reminiscent of smoked meat. Definitely a bifurcation flavor profile, though I found it quite enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Rich and over the top, I'm on fence with this one — 8 years ago
Got from the Connecticut wine store around $15 — 8 years ago
Beautiful sweet aromas of warm brown sugar, graphite, and black cherries. Similar on the palate with vanilla and sugar plums on the long finish. Not a hard edge to this wine. Silly smooth tannins. Awesomeness in a bottle. What u get when u take a vineyard that shares a fence line with screaming eagle and Russell Bevan as the wine maker. This hush hush wine has minuscule production — 9 years ago
Hell yes. Flashing some nice warm rubber on the nose, tickling the palate with a vibrant minerality. This wine has a lot to say and if you are on the fence about whether or not this is worth your time, it certainly is if you like your rieslings in a complex, layered and bright expression. — 9 years ago
Extremely smooth cab......great for those that love reds and for those that are on the fence. Here's to bringing friends to the other side! Great price point too! — 9 years ago
A great earthy, old-wood range fence style wine that gives us a break from all those other italian wines. — 10 years ago
Lemon granite chisel. Electric fence determination. — 10 years ago
There's no sitting on the fence for Occhipintis...such a distinctive, exotic expression like nothing else, least of all Nero d'Avola. Nose is tobacco and mushroom, earthy. Then comes dark cherry, black stewed fruit and pipe tobacco, at the same time so big and so light. Fine, light tannins. Like old CdP. Arianna Occhipinti is this cork dork's Rock Star! — 7 years ago
Lean like a fence — 8 years ago
Surprisingly good. Worked great with salmon. Nice cherry and dry like I like. — 8 years ago
Ripe berry, plum, pencil lead with just a hint of cocoa and pepper on the finish. Supple integrated tannin and more balanced than a cat walking on top of a fence! Loving washington these days — 8 years ago
Still on the fence in this one. Was a bit thin. — 9 years ago
Savory start to dinner. Light yet oily and easy to drink. Sitting right on the fence between light citrus sauv blanc and the fatter less fruity versions of Viognier. Perfect preparations for socializing and wood fired fish dishes. Liquid grace. She's quiet, smooth, enlightened, and relaxed. Nothing too strong or too weak about her. Sister of Sancerre. — 9 years ago
Oh, Hirschy Hirsch Hirsch. This one seems to be straddling that delicious line between young and old. Starting to show signs of being that mature type white wine, but still showing that gorgeous crispness and acidity that you've come to love in good dry Riesling. Not always a fan of fence sitters, but it's hard to argue with awesomeness. — 9 years ago
Thanks Alison! Great job — 10 years ago
Nice fruit flavours good medium weight — 11 years ago

Can't argue the fruit isn't good. Shares a fence line with Screagle... — 7 years ago
