The 2019 Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne is one of the hidden gems in Vietti’s stellar range. Crushed rocks, lavender, rose petal, mint, gravel and inky dark fruit all run through a racy, beautifully layered Barbera that will drink well right out of the gate. $20.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2021) — 4 years ago

Dried berries and rose petal, with strong notes of mineral and smoke. — 6 years ago
A producer that I enjoyed many times over the years at Bern’s drinking their 40’s thru 60’s GC’s where back in the day they say the wines were made by Roumier. Dried cherry, strawberry fruits, earth, baking spice, orange peel & rose petal. Lighter in body than previous btls but still enjoyable. — 5 years ago
This was singing tonight after giving it a little air as the change was dramatic where it started off with a ripeness & full body note that opened up to a more classically styled Barolo that was structured showing a perfumed nose of tart cherry, spice box with menthol, dried herbs, tar & rose petal. I have had this wine many times & tonight this was the best btl that I have had of this. — 4 years ago
Rose petal and floral nose. Wet earthy tones. Light mouth not as dense as expected medium finish. Very nice wine. — 8 years ago
