In Sicily so drinking a Sicilian wine. 25€ from the restaurant wine list. An ok wine but would try something different next time. — 7 months ago
Sicilian doc tasting 🇮🇹 🍷 single vineyard estate. Aged 26 mo. 60/40 Perricone/Nero — 9 months ago
With its soft but a bit tacky tannins and vinous berry fruit, this 100% Perricone reminds me a bit of Abruzzi Montepulciano wines, though the fruit is not quite as dark. Nose has a little sweaty / earthy note too. Lots of straightforward character. Nice! — 3 months ago

At 11.5% abv and with a striking salinity to boot, this was firmly in red kabi territory. Loved it! Officially a rosé, but really it’s a light red. Volcanic Poulsard was also another term thrown around on table, and frankly, it was quite apt. Beautiful aromas of pomegranate, tangerine, roses and some herbal hints. The wine just dances on the palate with tangy cranberry notes and lingering saltiness. So yum! — a month ago
