Pairing with relationship talk (with a therapist). — 10 years ago
So talk about having low expectations. My waiter at La Fenice in Toronto "moved" me from a $120 bottle to this $50 bottle of wine and WOW it was sensational. He said that back in the day this was the wine of choice at fine restaurants and was he ever right. This was AN INCREDIBLE selection — 10 years ago
Lets talk turkey how is this not the the go to for thxgiving magnum perfection with food, cranberry in a bottle fuck your relish! Great depth a spot on wine from a spot on producer. — 11 years ago
Whoa! Talk about being a dough-y champy! Bright and lemon like acidity with strawberry fruit. Persistent. Could not hold back from drinking it in 20 mins. — 11 years ago
Getting a terroir lesson from Pedro Parra. When talk turns to CA limestone, had to hunt this down. @Sashi Moorman @Rajat Parr — 11 years ago

This is wine to pour for those last remaining Francophile snobs who think they will never enjoy a bottle from --GASP --outside of France or surrounding vineyards. I know, there are thankfully not so many of these people left, but the point is, this tastes like a classic, pre-oakification, totally quaffable " let's have this with some rich, wintery food" sort of beverage. If you don't like this, we will have to find something else to talk about.

Oh, I love this wine so much, I call it Denzel. Every single time I talk a client into having this at their event or table -- they love it. It is perfect for compromising different palates when only one wine can be had... Merlot lovers, Pinot snobs, Cabernet aficionados ... They all can get along with this blend. It is wonderful to drink on it's own, but it shines wonderfully with food. Duh, I love this stuff. — 12 years ago
Took some time to talk to me. Seems like it has the ability to go even longer. Really enjoying this! — 12 years ago
This wine has an apple and lime interplay, with matchstick, pencil, lemon oil and hazelnut scents forever. Gas lamp, briny yellow olive, lemon pith, lemon seed, white clay, clean smoke. Such an easy, deft and focused wine. Puts some pep in your step. #Bourgogne #bourgogneblanc #frenchwine #whiteburgundy #whitewine #burglove — 9 years ago
I could have never blind tasted this and come close to it being a cab franc...cab sav, sure and about 20 other things too. It's much better than I would have ever guessed. Try it, it's a serious wine. Like it reads Vonnegut and wants to talk about the subtext kinda serious. — 9 years ago
Alright guys. Not expensive. No known name. This proves to me what you spend is not whether a wine is good. Delicious. Rich dark berries. Some vanilla. Buy it. Enjoy. The ratings are based on snob appeal. Take a blind taste test. Then we'll talk. Shalom. — 10 years ago
Talk about value. Very juicy strawberry and cherries. Pleasing amount of ripeness with just enough tannins to keep it approachble but satisfying. — 11 years ago
Wow. Talk about full flavor with a little bit of dust. My new favorite discovery. Anything Venge is going to be excellent. — 12 years ago
Do U want 2 talk about Rose? — 12 years ago
Amazing Brew, Excellent example of a truly great west coast IPA, this is the reason beer lovers from other countries are seeking out these fine brews, Germany was always the true brew masters, but even Germans are giving high praises to brew like this one, talk to people in the UK and they are blown away my this brew and others from Firestone and Stone, Balast Point, really great to see this happening here in the Great USA, Proud to call this brew as OURS! — 12 years ago
Opened this bottle after seeing Kermit Lynch's book talk - a worthy tribute to both man and wine — 13 years ago
Rich and mature. Hmmm. Makes me second guess the sponti talk on Mosel rieslings - I reckon it's probably to do with SO2. Quite a bit younger than the german rieslings in our little study the other day, but so much more advanced. Or maybe it's the sugar that helps with longevity in the german stuff.
Waxy, honeyed, floral, petrol notes, with the green apple and pear fruit playing second fiddle. Hint of aldehydes. Mineral and weighty. It was delicious! — 9 years ago
A really well balanced and elegant Chard. I loved it, Kylah is not sure and wants to revisit it. Talk about a classic, perfect Cali Chard. This has everything. It is not a big bully throwing sawdust and vanilla sticks at your head. It's soft, sophisticated, and delish. — 10 years ago
Mother's Day was perfect. And realistic. It meant doing dishes, laundry, and making four beds before 8am. But it also meant having an impromptu dance party with my Mom and my twins in her bathroom before 9am. It was a day devoid of cancer talk, acknowledging the obvious with extra long hugs, but choosing to embrace the moment and be hopeful there will be many more Mothers' Days with my Mom. This Vin Perdu was an excellent ending. Earthy and maybe even smoky vs what I have been drinking (because it's on fiiiyyaaa🔥) Heidi Barrett - need I say more - you know how I feel about her. And PS, if you've ever had it, you would know it's quite possibly the best label ever (a hologram) — 10 years ago

What I think of when I talk about Spanish wines. Dry, chocolate feel in the finish. A good accompaniment to any red meat. Better as it sits around...if you can leave an open bottle alone.... — 11 years ago
Surprised by this lovely little white. — 11 years ago

This is so nice and dry I expected to see the word "trocken" on the label. Alas, it's Italian and they don't talk like that — 11 years ago
Talk about monster. Peter Weygandt himself: "should taste this blind against Batard-Montrachet, that'd be interesting!" — 12 years ago
Talk about dense, this was opaque. And better with my trout than the steak — 13 years ago
Talk about smith, excellent — 13 years ago
James Webb
Holy moly. Wow. 47 years young. Talk about standing the test of time. So much to this wine - tertiary must, some dark fruit, some bright fruit, some serious herbs. Fantastic. — 9 years ago
