Backus Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Surprise of the night for me. Stunning. The mouthfeel was like cashmere. Gorgeous fruit.

I couldn't decide if I liked the 1977 or 1978 best. Truly special evening.

Holy moly. Wow. 47 years young. Talk about standing the test of time. So much to this wine - tertiary must, some dark fruit, some bright fruit, some serious herbs. Fantastic.
