Wow. Surprising. Restrained. In the zone now. — 5 years ago
Still has some tannins providing structure, full somewhat reserved body with good clean finish — 5 years ago
Dry yet succulent. Was quite impressive. — 6 years ago
Spot on, great name for this wine. It’s not red, not white and not rose. A very light red of very low tannin to be drunk cold. This is a couple white varieties and Syrah which was carbonic macerated. You can smell the bubblegum on the nose. Cranberries and cherries. Tastes as the classiest koolaide. — 4 years ago
@pacific standard time in chicago. Best orange I’ve had in a while, oxidized on the nose, immediately salty in the palette almost like a pecorino cheese and then a smooth sweet finish like apple cider. Infinitely complex and interesting. Love — 6 years ago
Had this with a nice creamy cheese and fruit/nut crackers (slightly sweet) and it was all delicious. — 6 years ago
I’m digging it. Good fruit, a little funk of a Rhone. Stupid good pizza wine — 4 years ago
Another killer effort from @Pax Mahle Deep rich purple. The nose is chocolate and olive and blackberry. The palate is full and Rich with black cherry and chocolate. This finish lingers for a minute plus. Medium acidity and tannins still present but well integrated. Just another solid wine. — 5 years ago
fruit punch on the first sniff, then soy sauce, then brown butter and brown sugar all the way through. pallet is savory while still showing some fruity ness. buttery in texture. low tannin. dry. light red/pinkish beautiful color. we sat on this bottle for a few months after purchasing and i'm so pleased with it. unexpected and delicious. solid AF. $30 — 5 years ago
Pax Cuvée Christine, Sonoma County 2003. Recently started drinking Pax, but this is my first with good age. 16 years but still opened pretty tight despite decanting. Beautiful nose with lots of leather and mushroom. Great earth on the palate, with some dark red fruits and some dried red and maybe some red stone fruits. Served with Shepard’s pie, hen of the woods mushrooms, bucatini with lamb ragu, and broccoli rabe. Still remarkably young, but mellowed with some air. — 5 years ago
This has to be my favorite wine to bring to a wine party. Barely qualified as an orange wine (skin fermented Trousseau Gris) with juicy acidity, fresh fruitiness with out showing sweetness, and aromas that are ever changing - orange blossom, oyster mushrooms, under ripe pineapple, apple skin.. wish this would stay around. It'll most likely show up in the Pax line up in the future, which I'm okay with. :) — 6 years ago

Beautiful, floral wine. Blueberry, thyme. Needs age- but is bright and enjoyable now! — 3 years ago
