Sottoterra Rosso Puglia 2018

Very drinkable. Needed time to open up a bit. Fruity and light. Great to drink cool. Like adult grape juice. 11% abv. Purchased at Jane in Brussels. — 5 years ago

Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Really quite lovely. On the red-fruited spectrum. Oak resolved, soft tannins and a medium weight but lush palate. — 7 years ago

Passalacqua Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

What a surprise. Old gal was drinking beautifully and had tannins to boot. Cassis and more old world in style. — 7 years ago

This was drinking really well. Smooth and savory all the way through the finish. Blueberry, raisins, and baking spice. Nicely balanced.

Radici Della Famiglia Quattro Sangiovese Blend

This sangio/cab blend is exquisite! Bright red fruit dominates (strawberries and ripe raspberries), but oak tannins and a spicy tobacco finish play nicely off the fruit explosion. Yum!! — 6 years ago

In balance = YES.
Delicious = HELL YEAH...

(and no mentioning of the IPOB silliness here because when it is done right YOU have absolutely no case).

Lux Bombino 2018

Barnyard and wet suede, and astringent high notes, on the nose. Sour tropical peels, pith, and unsweetened lime on the palate. Different, and difficult by itself. But sings once paired with salt, brine, and fat. — 4 years ago

Turley

Juvenile California Zinfandel 2015

15.5% alc.

I was happy with the past but really like the "new" direction of Turley since
@Tegan Passalacqua took over.
Not terribly complex but at $20 on the Mailing List this is the perfect "pizza/BBQ wine" and a fabulous QPR if I ever saw one....

My 5th grade teacher was Ms. Passalacqua :) Have you tried the Sandlands? He does that label still right?

@Norman Gennaro Yes, Sandlands is Tegan's "baby".
I have limited experience with the wines but the few sips I've had I've enjoyed.
