Perfumed and ethereal, quite fruit-forward on the nose with aromas of cherry, rose petal, pine needles and earthy notes and a whiff of tar. Juicy, slightly rustic on the palate with flavors of crunchy red fruit (cherry, cranberry), licorice. Quite dry, slightly harsh tannins (drinking this very young). High acidity. The orangish edges made me doubtful, but this is great. Very lively- strawberry nose. Red fruits, licorice, pepper. Strong acidity and tannins make me think I should buy more and sit on it for a few years. — 6 years ago

Rust showing on the rim... Crunchy red berry with hints of VA. Evergreen pine scent and a sultry black cherry round. Chi tea spice and ginger round out the nose.
