Worth checking out! Definitely a Chardonnay but a much cooler one, more minerality, a little fermentation, nice balance, maybe a little less alcohol, less viscosity. — 3 months ago
Like it a lot. Good value too. — 6 months ago
Dark purple in color with a reddish rim.
Fruity nose of black currants, cooked plums, black cherries, mildew, light wood, spices, coffee, oak, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf and black pepper. Very Complex nose.
Full bodied and soft with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, black currants, plums, oak, licorice, chocolates, eucalyptus, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, peppercorn, dark chocolates, herbs and light black tea.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This 11 year old Malbec from Mendoza is holding up very nicely. Feels like a 20 year old Bordeaux, especially on the nose. Interesting stuff. Elegant and complex, with enough fruits to enjoy on its own.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime.
I had this vintage 4 years ago, and it is drinking much better now.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. Paired nicely with my Short Rib pasta.
100% Malbec grapes were aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. A small production of only 3,000 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Bell pepper, chilli pepper, tamarind, red fruit… cherry, raspberry, cedar, vanilla, dill (but tech spec says aged in used French oak). On the palate, unripe blackberry and seeds. No noticeable cream on the palate (effect of melo gone?) — 5 months ago
From Chambers Street Wines. Grenache but also pinot? I’m getting currants and leather 🤔 — 7 months ago
