Great combination. Cloudburst has to be the closest Chard to a high end white burgundy outside of France. This 2013 was spectacular, with electric minerality. The 1998 Hill of Grace is claimed to be one of the 3 best Australian vintages (along with 02 and 06). Whoever says that Australian wines can’t age is just dead wrong! Anyway, tasted like an aged cuvée CDP and the depth and structure was just outstanding. — 6 years ago
This is a wonderful wine - one of the best field blends I’ve had, really. There’s an impression of wild raspberries and boysenberries on the front end, backed by a layer of mildly peppery spice, and presented in a medium-bodied frame. The tannins are mostly resolved and the finish is clean and just a touch sweet. This was ready to go with minimal air.
This is only my second or third Bucklin and I’m becoming a big fan. — 7 years ago
Give this one at least 2 hours to breathe after you open it and you will be greatly rewarded. Fabulous! — 8 years ago
I tried the 13 vintage a couple of years ago. This one is just as smooth. A full, ripe, and fruit forward wine. I like it. — 7 years ago
It’s been a bit since I’ve had a Sonoma Coast Pinot, and glad my entry back included this Cobb Jack Hill. Super pretty dark ruby fruit with a hint of blueberry and some stems on the backside. Needs a few years to show its true wonder, but I’m quite satisfied to be drinking after a dreary day in one of my favorite cafes. — 7 years ago
Still one of my favorite Pinots. Sad this is my last bottle. Really dark in color, lots of fruit left, hints of earth. Absolutely lovely. — 8 years ago
Probably one of the best Chardonnays have tasted from California or was that ...Chablis?

Great structure, notes of apple and pear. I'm not typically a Chardonnay drinker but this one was very memorable!! — 9 years ago
I've never had one of these aged. This was blind tasted at a Gruner tasting and I immediately thought that this was in the line up as a curve ball. I could not believe how much this reminded me of Riesling from Mosel. ACE sorbet, canned peach, marmalade, butterscotch, kerosene and wet rock. Length, amazing structure. — 10 years ago
Surprisingly, this one was not as big as the Futo. I am a big fan of anything from Prichard Hill and was intrigued seeing this one on the list. Gave it an hour to open up and had a fantastic ribeye to pair it with! In retrospect, I think I would have flipped the sequence. (All bullshit aside on sequencing, this is still an amazing wine and I am just being anal).. The color was still a nice deep violet with strong dark fruits. Great pedigree with Helen Turley on the planting and David Abreu on the vineyard management. What could ever go wrong? — 7 years ago
One of my favorites. Just the right amount of fruit, wood, and terroir. A bit acidic but not too much. Pairs nicely with cheese and charcuterie. — 8 years ago

Still have some 90’s & early 2000’s around, wknd wineGreat complexity from one of our consistently favorite wineries. This one is very complex, and developed interestingly over two days. It's started out with a lot of brambly, earthy character, with very muted raspberry fruit, and the Russian River cherry cola fruit came out much more prominently in day 2. — 9 years ago

47% Cab Sav, 37% Malbec and the rest is Petite Verdot and Merlot. Always one of my go to wines and this vintage is surely not disappointing. — 6 years ago
