Very pleasant. Strong grape fruit flavor — 8 years ago

Beautiful expression from one of the great Austrian masters. It is clean as a whistle with lemon, white pepper, smoke - a nice mingling if Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Gruner Veltliner, and Chardonnay. It’s fine and refined, with cool climate lemon citrus, wet rocks, and a whiff of yeast. Bone dry with only 3g of RS. Very very good. — 8 years ago
Gorgeous classic citrus peach — 2 years ago
Floral and subtle and just fucking perfect. — 5 years ago
Light-yellow; subdued nose of grapefruit and stone; more of the same with melon and perhaps peach on the palate, all enhanced by the lovely, velvety mouthfeel. Clearly much too young. — 8 years ago
Avec du homard
Très bon
Assez sucré — 4 years ago
Nice clean fruit and a solid spine of acidity. Great accompaniment to poached fish. — 5 years ago
Beautiful Grüner! Crisp and acidic. Grüner is quickly becoming my favorite white. Citrusy and hint of pears. — 7 years ago
All the qualities from GV packed with intensity, concentration and long sweet fruit. This is my first TBA GV from Nigl ans have to say I was impressed. This has plenty of life ahead but already enjoyable on its own or with various desserts. — 8 years ago
Jellied asparagus beneath lemon curd, ripe peach, white apricot and white roses, airy pineapple and golden raisin, frame a lemon marmalade on light toast. Almost oily mouthfeel that texturally resonates with a materializing jalapeño jam. Pineapple essence, poached Bosc pear, suggesting its white pepper near the finish line with tangerine pith, orange zest and fruitcake; all while staying sincere in its effort to dazzle the paparazzi with effortless gestures and perfectly-timed poses befitting its natural magnanimity. #grüner #grünerveltliner #gruner #grunerveltliner #austrianwine #austrian #weiss #weissgold #Nigl #NiglPrivat #kremstal #weingut #wein #wein #Senftenberg — 8 years ago

White flowers, yellow stonefruit, honey, gout du petrol (very, very decent), nougat, lovely acidity after 13 years, perfectly balanced wine and endless aftertaste. Best Austrian Riesling so far. — 6 days ago
