@Delectable Wine this is the
PB White Blend No 1
Grenache blanc, marsanne and rousanne
Glen Garvald is owned and run by Levantine Hill
They just try different things, but location and winemaking is very similar.
Here we have a quite crunchy and spicy white wine. The grenache blanc puts it in the CdP area for some similarity, one for all this elegant greenish, sour grapefruit like taste, perhaps a bit of kiwi-like.
It's easy drinking, it has enough body, perhaps lacks a bit of elegance. Still a bit exuberant, i bet it will get better with time.

Very good white wine. Doesn't have that artificial taste some whites do. — 4 years ago

2022 vintage. The website didn't update for the 2022 vintage yet, but according to Jeff Leve (the Wine Cellar Insider often has more recent info than the official websites), it is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon. In any case, it is a beauty. Pineapple and white peach go hand in hand with floral and mineral aromas. It has a very round mouthfeel, but very fresh at the same time. Probably the finest value in Pessac-Léognan white Cru Classés these days. — 9 months ago
Blend of 83% Semillon, 12% Sauv Blanc & 5% Muscadelle, golden medium lemon color with a complex botrytis bouquet of ripe sweet stone fruits, lemongrass and sweet floral perfume spice. On the palate peach, apricot and honey flavors adding in some nutty sweet oak encompassed by complex botrytis, "noble rot" fruit. Long finish ending with sweet creamy character. Very Nice! — 5 years ago
Jalapeno notes and so damn good — 7 years ago

Vintage 2021 | see earlier note | 6 months barrel aging and this was to be seen in a gold colour that makes you think the wine is older when tasted blind | vines between 50 and 70 years old | fine smell with vanilla, ananas, mango and melon. A tingling bitter that gives the wine character imo, good acidity. My wine friends found it difficult to place the wine. — 7 months ago
