Mt Rosa

Lagier Meredith

Mount Veeder Syrah 2008

Intense red fruited aromas and flavors, a little less tannic and structured than the 2007, but this shows bracing acidity at the present time, long, lingering finish, which the incredible acid backbone lifts and lengthens, another wine to ideally drink from 25-30 years after the vintage! — 4 days ago

Rosa dell'Olmo

Barolo Nebbiolo 2019

T.J. wine but an excellent vintage and less than 20 bucks. Scott alerted me so I bought a case. Last bottle. 2020 was not that good - have not gone back and tried 21…… — 2 months ago

Duude…confession time…still combing through ALL the bottles looking for that random misrotated 2019. Trader Joe’s too good for that tho. A retail/chain grocery store? It would be on. That 2019 just popped ridiculously. Was able to rip thru approx 20-24 btls of the 2019 as it was the haus wine for a spell. Miss it.

I really enjoyed this wine. It was the bottle that introduced me to wine drinking. A nice beginner one for me at least. — 3 months ago

Mt. Jefferson Cuvée Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2023

A solid producer year after year! Very juicy and light. Some whole cluster. Very likable and unoffensive. Touch bitter. Orange zest, more red fruit than dark. Cherry/Hint blackberry. Touch oregano. Lime. Crushed marble. Covers the back palate nicely. Lots going on here. I consider this a drink now wine 36 bucks and 13.5%. There are just a handful of Pinots which win me over at this price point. And this one is in the Burgh killer zone. If you like Pinot this is a winner @ San Diego Wine Co. — 5 days ago
