Medium ruby , violet ruby rim . Lively and freshly fruited , wild strawberry , red plum , spiced cherry . On the palate more of the spiced cherry , red plum and raspberry notes . Light herbal touch . Quite fresh acidity and slightly gritty tannins . Red cherry , herbal medium length finish . This is showing well but will probably age quite well over the next 5-8 years . Very dense and black in colour. These wines always remind me of Fruit and Nut milk chocolate. The colour makes you think full bodied but it’s actually light to medium bodied. A luscious mouth filling palate with the savoury milk chocolate together with notes of raisin and date. Supple yet persistent tannins. Reminiscent of a Priorat Garnacha in some respects. — 10 months ago
