Smooth and velvety.Outstanding feel and long finish. Fruit and earthy flavors. Great stuff. — 7 years ago
Quite light medium ruby, with wide garnet rim . Quite a lot of spicy darker fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , very fruit driven still , floral hints . On the palate there good density and bright acidity , quite rounded ripe but gritty tannin , with a quite sweet spiced darker fruit profile , with a touch of anise , earth and dark cherry on the medium length finish . This is drinking well and still showing quite a lot of fruit , quite rounded and ample in style . From now and over the next 5 or so years . — 5 months ago

Vintage 2022 | Fresh, saline, minerals. Aligoté is confusing to recognize when tasting blind, it can also be rather meager. But this Aligoté is textbook: fine citrus in smell, tones of Granny Smith in first sips, very very vibrant and juicy. You long to a new sip of the wine. Paired with Asian yaki udon with pointed cabbage, oystermushrooms, bacon strips and a viscous sauce in which I added a bit saké. — 8 months ago
Sister in law opened this for me at her girls party. So good. — 4 years ago
2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago

Lemon peel, mineral air, lemon oil, the sea.
Oyster shell, subtle lemon oil, minerality.
Very elegant style. Martini-like mouthfeel and texture.
Really lovely expression of Chardonnay especially in stark contrast to California style chards from Sandhi and Matthiasson. Wow, Chablis. I love Chablis. — 6 months ago
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. A pale lemon color in the glass with barely visible little green flecks. Lemon zest and apples of different varieties on the nose. Limestone and honey with a touch of sugar. Minerals and chamomile. So very sexy.
Lithe, lively, and lovely. Medium plus acidity with a ton of character and elegance. Very pure and fresh, clean. There’s a hint of slivered almond initially in the mouth followed by butterscotch and nectarines. Plenty of citrus notes here. A long finishing leaves you wanting more. A truly compelling Burgundy. — 10 months ago
Vosne Romanée was in the limelight in this podcast that I am following the other day. So I har to have a taste. And I must say that it has got style. 17/5-2021 — 5 years ago
Archetypal Bordeaux - old world in style, but where the savory characteristics are well-integrated with common Bordeaux fruit notes. Well-structured and precise, with notes of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla with a long, somewhat chalky finish. — 6 years ago

PJW #6 - Totally classic burgundy, redolent fruit (cherries) yet soft tannins, minimal acidity, on the lighter side, long beautiful finish, excellent. Lean more toward pork/poultry with this one — 4 months ago
