I think only 200 cases produced and I am happy to have tried a bottle. Yum in my tum — 8 years ago
Deep, dark, balsamic fruit and fragrant scorched herbs on the nose. More sweet, dark, intense fruit, herbs and a little earth on the palate, with a long, very grippy finish. Already deliciously elegant with a promising future. Great stuff. — 9 years ago
Massimo is a genius! Can't wait to see his wines evolve and develop over time. Pure fruit and has wonderful, natural acid. THIS is what Napa cab is all about. — 10 years ago
2012 vintage. Pale lemon. Fresh, tangy and citrus like on the nose. On the palate, this wine has more weight that I was expecting and some leesy, creamy notes - sur lie with battonage? Nice textural wine with medium plus acidity and ripe lemon and lime, hints of almond and some white peach. The length and concentration are really very good. For what it is, this is a top example of its type and difficult to criticise except for the limited complexity on the nose. I would think this could improve in bottle for 3 years. — 11 years ago

Alto Piemonte Nebbiolo. Gorgeous, pale-brick color. Velvety, leather, ripe black fruit, dried roses, tobacco and tar, but with high-altitude and northern Piedmont freshness, minerals, and perfumed elegance. From Flatiron Wines. — 6 years ago
