A bit tight still. Light in body. — 9 months ago
This has chilled out and has relaxed. No dosage, but it has evolved to a sweeter place. Really presentable now. Just needed 20 years to come around 😀 — 9 months ago

This was our second bottle. First was uninspiring and despite the 97pt RP rating, found it to be disappointing. The trick is to let it breathe for at least an hour to let the flavors develop. It is no Opus One but very satisfying with a juicy steak or just plain enjoyment! — 8 years ago
Classic burgundy, great structure and well integrated but was a bit green all the way through. — 9 years ago
Selfridges feiyu - smoky, bubble gum / banana, typical Beaujolais wine, low sulphate, natural fermatation, works well chilled ( only works with low tanning wine) — 8 months ago
The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru doesn't possess the delineation and panache of Tollot-Beaut's on the nose at first, though it coheres nicely with aeration. Peach skin, linseed and wilted white flowers eventually come through. The palate is well-balanced with a viscous entry, a little more honeyed in style than previous wines in this flight of Corton-Charlemagne, though it deserves applause for the precision and detail on the finish. It needs a little more time in the bottle compared to others because there is a lot of coconut-ty new oak. My score is based on this being assimilated with bottle age. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2024)

Sneaky ripe for an Hermitage. A lot of fruit right out of the gate, but as it warms/breathes...The classic tar, meat and leather starts to emerge. What a wine — 8 years ago
Really love this wine! — 10 years ago

Exceptional wine. Grab on with both hands and just enjoy. Rich but focused. Such a wide pairing ability. A favorite white. — 8 months ago
