5 years ago I proposed to my wife at this beautiful estate high up in St. Helena and luckily she said yes! The views were absolutely stunning and the wines have been up to par as well. Although some tertiary notes are kicking in the high 15.1% alc keeps the wine young and fresh as well. The higher altitude of the vines likely works in the wines favor for sure. #happyanniversary — 7 years ago
16’ Lone Birch Pinot Gris. I have a love-hate relationship with Pinot Gris’s. Sometimes the acid is just a little much for my taste. This is not the case with this. This would pair wonderfully with a baked salmon!
Profile- Classic, acidity throughout the glass. Lemon, green apple, grapefruit, spicy, richness to it. Not a varietal I normally would gravitate towards. Nice bottle of wine. — 8 years ago
$17 good wine for price — 9 years ago

Different blend from 2011: much more Viognier and Picpoul Blanc. Aromatic and high acidity, given backbone with subtly rich texture. — 11 years ago
