Fig and plum, pinch of raisin. Silky texture, some forest and baking spice. Magnum — 3 years ago
New grape for me, and new Broc for me. Love it! The nose is a bit green and underripe, but the fruit is amazing. Red currant, raspberry, black cherry, some strawberry, but damp and dark, then it turns dry. Great balance of fruitiness and dryness towards the end. Some tannins on the finish and subtly herbal, but not much. Pure dry fruit for quite a while. Comforting winter red. Lovely label. With pizza.
As with other Brocs, this doesn’t hold up so much on the second day. Drink fresh. — 10 months ago
A producer I just started following last year after 1st tasting his 19 Perrieres in NYC, a wine that was one of the best on my trip amongst a number of great names. This village Meursault was rich & intense showing citrus, orchid fruit with a chalky & floral finish. — 3 years ago
