1996 vintage. Redonkulous, mid-neck fill and pristine cork (have had 17-20 similarly stored/performing bottles of different producers, varietals, regions from this particular cellar). Decanted with a mix of small chunk and coffee ground sed. Tasted immediately and over the course of two hours. That aged, silvery sheen in the color with a noticeable meniscus. Quiescent nose in the early going and showing. Took approx 30 mins of repeated decanted agitations to coax out a mix of herbs, orange zest/peel and slight beefiness. All this plus some American milk chocolate coalescing in flavor land. Light body. Still going strong after two hours. Likely another 7-10 years of drinking pleasure left from an above average vintage. 12.30.23. — 4 months ago
1986 vintage. From 375 ml's. Double decanted and tasted across five separate bottles over the course of 5 hours. Consistently excellent. Oodles of peach and tangerine along with the usual, age appropriate, honeyed/dried fruits flavors. Showing really nicely and should so for the foreseeable future. 3.14.24. — 2 months ago

Egly-Ouriet. Always so lovely. Always so thrilling.
A medium old gold color in the glass with pleasing perlage. Everything here is so very sensual and seductive beginning with the nose. As usual, toasted brioche aromas are prevalent here. Orchard fruits with a generous oak influence. Green apples and dusty libraries with an added kick of quince.
So young but so precocious and inviting. Powerful and full bodied and just so engrossing. The elegance is there, as always. As is the complexity despite the relative youth. Shes a polished and generous lover that can’t help but enchanting you. The freshness of the fruit on the palate is amazing. Slivered almonds, red and green apples, and vanilla brioche. The finish is, of course, long, powerful, and glorious. Let these sit for a few more years because she has so much more to give. And you want it too. — 4 months ago

Absolute harmony and royalty in a glass. Popped with Goose in a random afternoon cause, why not. Blown away by its place right now. Balanced with richness and acid and then comes that Monty finish. Holy fuck! Not always moves by Leflaive, but the 14 was special. — 9 months ago
I don’t get to try this ultra premium segment of Burgundy much so it is a treat to have this. This displays ripe aromas of berries, rose petal, leafs and wine gum pastille. It is medium bodied. On the palate you get more berries, citrus fruits, vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is fresh and dry with district fine tannins. — 3 months ago
Deeper colour ruby still with garnet rim . Quite floral nose , more fresh fruits , mix of red and dark . On the palate more dense , slightly riper but still fresh , darker fruit , quite wild and detailed . Well balanced acidity , quite gritty tannin , fills out well on the palate . Good length , drinking well now but will age longer over the next 8-10 years . — 5 months ago
Pnp perfection with a captivating and explosive layered bouquet of candied red cherries, rose petals, coffee beans and exotic spices. The palate is luxuriously silky with obvious grand cru weight and intensity and there is stunning purity and elegance to balance such power and exhilarating energy. An incredible combination. Its spice and mineral laced finale just keeps on going. One of the best CDLR’s in the biz was perfect tonight. — 7 months ago
