An award winner every year, Chateau Bellevue Peycharneau is an extraordinary wine produced from a 37-acre hillside vineyard on the far-easter border of Bordeaux, near Bergerac. Deep purple color, Intense, expensive nose of red cherries, blackberries, toast and licorice. Riche and concentrated in the mouth with silky tannins and a nice long finish. Enjoy alone or with steaks, pork loin, turkey and cheeses. — 6 years ago

Light & mid red fruits, smoke, grilled meats & dry red roses on the nose. The fruits are; dark cherries, cherries, cooked strawberries, dry cranberries, black cherry cola, reductive pomegranate, grilled meats, smoke, baking spices (vanilla & nutmeg), brown crushed volcanic rocks, dry roses, light oak, nice acidity and an elegant swirl of all of the above on the long beautiful finish. Nice work Toby. For those reading, a Pinot to acquire and a winery to follow going forward. Great pair with pork loin w/ fruit. https://www.google.com/amp/s/johnonwine.com/2015/06/11/spotlight-winery-phillips-hill-winery/amp/

Rubis claire
— 7 years ago
Brewer Clifton is always a treat. Opened before a Havanese Pork Loin. Fruity but slowly evolved into a refined balance with notes of caramel and slight pepper. — 8 years ago
Spicy, fruity, satisfying medium body.. pairs well with pork loin and lingers well. Love the peppery character balance with the full red and nectarine fruit. — 8 years ago
58 Grenache/32 Carginan/10 Syrah...quite beautiful with our mint chimichurri lamb loin roast w/glazed carrots. An inversion for us - more tannin than textural acid...so fun and resolute :) — 5 years ago
Drank 9/4/19. Paired with paprika rubbed pork loin. Happy to be able to grill again after Dorian.
Nose of red cherry, strawberry, underbrush, and a touch of cinnamon. Red fruit and underbrush flavors, with nice balance and a medium finish. Slightly preferred the '16, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

I've only tried one other British-made wine. Quite tasty! Tart apple cider notes make it off-dry. Nice champagne alternative with our first festive December meal of pork loin and polenta with lingonberry sauce 🎄 — 7 years ago
Imagine walking through a blueberry patch, munching on the freshly picked, sun-warmed blue beauties. This wine is blueberries for days, on the nose and on the palate with a mildly spicy undercurrent. Well rounded, soft tannins with a finish reminiscent of grape jelly. Paired with a strip loin and grilled veg. Enjoyed. — 7 years ago
Delish! Great on its own and even better with our smoked pork loin. — 8 years ago

I don’t drink too many Spanish wines but I liked the blingy label and it turned out really good. Paired well with a grilled pork loin and grilled veggies. TGIF! — 5 years ago
