Vintage 2011 | Beautiful Marsannay old vines, my wife reminds me that the Bourgognes from Fournier reflect a Bordeaux character, they are strict. But this wine has a bouquet with frivolous fruit, very nice and we taste a glass Fronsac next to it. Conclusion: awesome Pinot noir 😜 paired with a beef schnitzel and ratatouille. — 8 months ago

Upon recommendation from the wine ship guy, i opened this 2-3 hours before tasting, which was good, except for tge fact that it got too warm. I popped it back in the fridge for 20 minutes and then it was perfect. Very fruit forward and fresh with a nice structure despite its youth (2017 tasted in August 2019). All the guests loved it. — 6 years ago

Had w steak. Accessible, good bit/tannins but not over the top, some blue berry undertones.
Likely buy again
,"reds joust spectacularly with the kinds of dishes you think about when there is a cool spring evening that might call for a fire pit— steaks, grilled vegetables, burgers—but the perfect pairing is a rich, slow-cooked Daube de Boeuf, the classic red wine–beef stew of the region." — 2 years ago
