Very good. I'm not any expert, but I think this wine has a future - at Tre Galline, Torino. — a year ago
Tannic but not too much, fruit but not overly ripe, distinct dried flower notes. Ah, tradition. Really good old school barolo. — 3 years ago
Full and dark - nose of black cherries, plums, licorice. Velvety tannins, uplifting acidity. A little simple but quite concentrated. Not bad. — 4 years ago

Spicy notes on the nose. Round fruits reminiscent of Pinot noir. Tannins still a bit harsh but lots of structure to age — 7 years ago
Amazing lunch at Il San Pietro di Positano. 1997!! — 8 years ago
Futili wine that is smooth, kind of creamy (not in a California Chardonnay kind of way though), that tastes a little like white flowers and linen. Just delicious. — 10 months ago
With fruits from the San Pietro cru in Monforte d'Alba and aging in stainless steel and amphora for 10 month only, this is a simplistic yet beautiful interpretation of Nebbiolo.
Ripe cherry, strawberry, plum, rose petals with just hint of forest floor. Medium elegant body. Vibrant yet composed. Soft dusty tannins. Just lovely. — 2 years ago

This wine paired well with both barbacoa and mole poblano. Two different Mexican dishes that are often hard to pair with wine. The sweetness of the mole blended well with the fruitiness of the wine. — 4 years ago
Beautiful nose with dark fruit. Black tea on the palate. Very silky with smooth tannins. Lovely balanced wine! — 6 years ago
Awesome with Italian food — 8 years ago

vintage 2015 | I could murder for this smell, but my dislike of nebbiolo harshness and earthy bitters confirm my difficult relationship with Barolo. — 20 hours ago
