6 corners wine <$20. Very drinkable — 3 months ago
Great wine, very approachable and powerful. I had this with a good bolognese but needed a ribeye. Highly recommended — 6 months ago
Very enjoyable left bank bottling for $35 on the shelf, if not pretty closed. Decanted for 2+ hours and was just starting to reveal itself, still somewhat shy after 4+. Blackberry, stewed mulberry, earth, coffee grounds, garden, and spice. Not overly ripe or concentrated with a subtle bitter balance. Curious to see what day 2 is like. Good value candidate for cellaring though I wouldn’t hate a bit more acidity. — 6 months ago
For our reception, I packed a magnum of this in 2007 into my suitcase.. Same as it was that night, it is tonight. Every 750ml I/we have had since then has better than the magnum I brought. The magnum was good, but a touch broken down. This is in amazing shape. Storage is everything w/ wine of this age.
The nose was straight up brighter, aged fruit profile with mushrooms, sweetened led pencil & barnyard. Beautiful. Classic 80’s seminole Bordeaux. 48 years from inception & 46 years in bottle, amazing.
Happy anniversary Sofia! ❤️ you endlessly!
This is a perfect example of why I love Bordeaux. — 9 months ago
An oldie and a goodie direct from my cellar. Pop and pour. Color is still bright ruby/brick, no browning. Nose: tobacco, cedar, garden shed. Palate: acid +, body 0, T +, some graphite and echo of ivy leaf in the finish. Showing well, but also a fine old claret, even if still slightly rough edged. — 3 months ago

A steal for $39.99 on a recent purchase. Bought a case. While not sweet, wine candy. — 6 months ago
Decanted for an hour. Extremely good, rich and balanced. Wife loves California cab sav and thought this was better than most California cabs. One of the best French wines I’ve had. — 8 months ago
Better than the bottle I had a year ago and 2 years ago. Seems like it’s gotten to a mature plateau — 5 years ago

Gentle and feminine. Light and balanced. Nice wine that reflects the vintage without overextracting strange flavors. — 3 months ago
