2017 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 mins. Medium-heavy body but starting to thin out slightly. Taupenot-Merme is one of the "bigger bodied" Burgs. Wanted more earth but got more spice instead. Decent compromise. Seems like another 3-4 years would find this hitting the optimal sweet spot. 8.23.24. — 8 months ago
Juice world. Cherries. GSMC blend. Great find at Vin Chicago. — a year ago
Had this at Carretta on the Gulf with the Huyck’s. — 4 years ago
Green apple, lemon zest, walnut skin, smoke, lentil, and beeswax. Searing acidity. Called it a Hunter Semillon in a blind tasting, ugh. Never would have expected it to be of 14% alcohol! — 5 years ago
One of the best cotes du rhones — 5 years ago
Wine club selection October 2019, tastes like a crisp cold fall day - nice tannin, rich with a light peppery dark fruit taste — 6 years ago
A wine that majorly over-delivers! 15 years and it has settled nicely into middle age.
The color is a deep ruby, no signs of age at the edge (no bricking), ruby red edges. The nose has a medium+ intensity of cherry, currants, red plum, loamy soils, mild spice and dark cocoa. The palate is medium bodied, with medium, fine grain tannin that are resolving into the wine's texture harmoniously. The palate intensity is med+ and the finish is persistent and long. Outstanding and $34.50 from JJB on futures. Wish I had bought more! — 7 months ago
Very fresh and typical wine from Cassis. — 10 months ago
2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago
Full-bodied white Côtes du Rhône, with a tangy finish, served with crispy duck at Lucie in the Colonnade Hotel, Boston — 6 months ago
Blend of 65% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc and rest Cab Sauvignon, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark black fruits, and a herb spice nose. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currant and cherry, with licorice, tobacco and burnt herbs. Fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, smoky spice and earthy mineral notes. — 7 months ago
First time trying this. Opened 8 hours before and decanted for 4, which I’d suggest at this stage. I don’t think I would have guessed Bordeaux blind, probably would have gone something from Piedmont. Not actually giving a ton on the nose, but quite nice and deep plum / purple fruited / leathery on the palate. Hauntingly balanced finish that goes on and on. Very nice. — 9 months ago
This is definitely an extra dry. The champagne starts dry and finishes dry. In between there is nice green apple. A very nice drinking champagne!!! — 4 years ago
Very special rose from Barossa. Savory and ripe red berry flavors and intense flavor and long lasting. Will chill it and drink more later — 5 years ago
What a great find! Received the 2000 vintage bottle via an exchange in the Bay Area & couldn’t be more thrilled. Usually a North snob, this Product of the Boudreaux region is simply a treat. Not too many in the states left where I shop, so I was able to savior this special number 🙏🌎 — 5 years ago

A little long in the tooth. Colour a deeper yellow than a younger example. Nose is subtle ( read limited) interesting on the palate. Pleasant with a medium long finish. — 6 months ago
