WOTN for me at the La Sirena wine dinner. Heidi Barrett’s daughter, Remy, offered a lively conversation about her mom and the wines. We tried the ‘14, 15, and 2016 of the B&B and ‘15 was by far my favorite. Much more concentrated fruit. 2015 was a struggle vintage with little rain, hence the bolder fruit concentration. This was a much more nuanced wine IMO. Well balanced. Big wine, but everything was in balance. Stunning. @55Seventy — 3 years ago
An Albariño grape wine out of Napa is very rare and uncommon, but found this interesting and so lively on the pineapple, grapefruit and other tropical aromas, crispy, fresh and it has a very clean finish. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side, loved the hints of Quincy after taste as well. — 5 months ago
