Disappointed by the lack of balance. — 9 months ago
This is classic JP Quarter Moon.
The 18 has nice evolution while holding its vineyard characters. It shows medium dark fruits; black cherries, blackberries, strawberries, nicely layered spice & baking spices, mid red flowers, excellent acidity and a finish that is elegant, well balanced-knitted and lasts 90 seconds.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! — 10 months ago

2008. Tart red fruits, Gevrey funk, nice acid. Still quite youthful. — 12 years ago
Amazingly perfumey. — 13 years ago
Almost effervescent with acidity, bright, with tart cherries, the funk and slight brine of olives, and a pleasant mid-mouth weight. — 6 months ago
Was fine, but nothing to write home about!✍️ — 8 months ago
Nose of dark and red fruit, tar, baking spice and some floral notes. Medium acidity plus acidity, long finish, plum, black pepper, well integrated tannins that is present but not in your face, black tea. — a year ago
Nice yellow color. Vibrant bubbles. Citrus flavor with pineapple notes. The mouth-feel is vibrant — 4 years ago
It’s a bigger body style Pinot, which I’m personally not a fan of- but the fruit and aromatics are great. Hard not like! Hibiscus, forest, blackberries. — 5 years ago

Love the acid and style of this wine. Didn't quite stand up against the richer wines in this flight, but again it's is own animal. Lots of carbonic character. Day two it lost that primary effervescence and showed much more weight on the palate. Definitely the outlier in the group. Would like to see this with at least 5 years of age. — 11 years ago

With Dawn, like French wine - great mouth taste and nice finish — 7 years ago
2005 dark and earthy. Deeply concentrated. Fruit barely discernible in the tobacco and smoke flavors. Bone dry. Finish goes on forever. — 10 years ago
Wow. Excellent. 2008 — 11 years ago
Light, well balanced, slight pear notes on the nose. — 12 years ago

Great wine. Will improve but not a bad time to open. Aromatics started with a distinctive smoky or reductive note that I couldn’t quite place but dissipated and morphed. Good structure. — 6 months ago
