Wow, je m’attendais sans aucune raison à un vin plus costaud mais pas du tout, un vin élegant et raffiné. Couleur très limpide d’un rouge cerise. Au nez, note de fruits rouges, d’épices, en bouche c’est fin, on goute la fraises, c’est quelque peu acidulé, des notes de Kirsh, tabac, du cedre. C’est plein de niveau de saveur, le vin évolue constamment. La finale est longue. Une tres bonne bouteille. — 3 years ago

Opened with slow oxygenation for 5 hours before tasting. Palate is expressive and changes nicely in the glass all night, very floral, violets and still some varietal Syrah scents and profile despite the 15 years. Palate is medium bodied, freshness is there, the tannins have melted and are of very nice texture, the medium plus length finale ends with some peppery and flowery tones. Nice but expected a little more. 90-91

Ouvert 5 heures avant dégustation en retirant le bouchon seulement. Un nez aromatique et évoluant très bien dans le verre, floral, violettes et montrant assez peu d’évolution. La bouche de texture soyeuse est assez fraîche, des tannins fondus, c’est fin et assez élégant sans être très complexe, une finale de longueur de niveau moyenne plus sur de jolis accents floraux et poivrés. 2018 vintage. This is only the 3rd time Rémy Eymas made this handpicked selection of the best grapes of his estate. The 2010 and 2014 were both excellent, but this 2018 is in a different league. The two previous vintages were blends of 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot, whereas the 2018 is 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Malbec (I tasted the components from barrel last year and I was certain that he would add Malbec to the blend, as they were showing exceptionally well). Moreover, he moved to " vinification intégrale" with this wine, and this costly procedure is a real game changer. Easily the best wine Rémy has ever made, Je Suis 2018 is a spectacular wine that must be tasted to be believed. Beautifully complex nose with a panoply of red and black fruits (raspberries, blueberries , blackberries), roses, violets and delicate vanilla. In the mouth it features excellent balance with layers of fruit, juicy acidity, haute couture tannins and an incredibly long finish. The 15% abv. is well-integrated. If there was a classification in Bourg this would be definitely a First Growth. — 2 years ago

A winegrower that I have been following with passion for several years: Explosive bouquet of fruits and flowers, enhanced with cinnamon notes. A "natural" Beaujolais Gamay, light and crunchy in the first hours after opening. Then the wine unfolds and unfolds again. After 12 hours, the wine is round. The acidity is lively and the tannins are both tight and opulent. It is delicate and full. Wonderful on a home-made marguerita pizza (with arugula).

Un vigneron que je suis depuis quelques années avec passion. Bouquet explosif de fruits et de fleurs, rehaussé de notes cannelées. Un gamay « nature » du Beaujolais, léger et croquant au premières heures après l’ouverture. Puis le vin se déploie et se déploie encore. Après 12h on a un vin rond, ample, l’acidité est vive et les tanins sont à la fois serrés et opulents. C’est fin délicat et ample. Je voulais ouvrir mon premier 2008 du CV pour voir ce qu’ils ont dans le ventre. Agréablement surpris, je crois qu’il va s’agir d’un millésime tres classique, cigar, tabac blond, graphite, mine de crayon. Ce Potensac etait tres bien, belle finale, pour le prix d’antan rien à redire. Selon moi, ce millésime va ressemble à la trajectoire des 2001. Que j’apprécie beaucoup! — 4 years ago
