This is the “Jardin de Tru” comprised of 44% Malbec, 22% Merlot, and 24% Syrah. Juicy dark red fruits, green peppercorns, and dry vegetation.
Nice balance given the 11.9% abv. Not overly green. First Mexican wine I’ve had and while it’s expensive for what it is ($36) I look forward to watching this producer and region. — 3 years ago
Maybe not Merlot. Maybe Grenache Syrah Mourverde (GSM). Excellent. — 2 months ago
À nicely balanced Merlot-primary BDX from Entre Deux Mers bottled as a VdF. This is a must-try wine for any Bordeaux lover! — 6 months ago
Love this wine. Hits all the marks for me- great with food or on its own- balanced and enough complexity to make me keep coming back for more. Excellent! — 4 months ago

El Jardin de la emperatriz rioja Alta Crianza 2018 Crianza- blend of Tempranillo, garnacha, maturana Tinta, graciano. Dark ruby. Maturano is dark like the cat. On the nose, smoke and oak with some dark berries. On the palate, smoke and oak and dark berry with strong acidity. Making it fresh. Strong tannins. — 4 years ago

Fruity aromas with a bit of earthy funk (a la forest floor), light on the palate with tart blackberry and black cherry, a little of the funk, and subtle barky tannins that linger on the tongue. — 2 days ago
