Fun, spicy, round quaffer. Earthy notes dominate with some cherry in reserve. Drained quickly! — 5 years ago
All previous negative reviews were for ‘05 vintage. Guess the winemaker fixed the “problem” by 2012. $55 purchased in New Orleans to drink with our beef tenderloin, Holiday Dinner. Did not disappoint in fact, when I asked my wine guy for a solid burgundy for $50-60, he nailed it with this election. Very traditional and will purchase again. The acidity from ‘05 reviews not present here. Nice red fruit, but not overbearing. Second glass after a little air and chill was highlife if he evening. — 6 years ago
Disclaimer: a coworker makes this wine.
Pretty wound up. Wish we had decanted.
Nose isn't very giving, but sweet cherries, slight dried florals, very faint earth/mushroom/brett?, and a generous serving of spice/oak.
The palate is much more generous and cohesive. Very silky tannin. Finish was incredibly long. — 8 years ago
2012 vintage: Quite a feminine NSG that is really floral of rich fruit and gaminess. The palate has good length with good fruit but lovely fine tannins that leave you wanting more. Very different to Chevillon's other NSG wines. A lovely NSG worth a go. — 9 years ago
Very very interesting, lovely flavours, never drank anything like it! — 11 years ago

Vosne-Romanée: definitely expensive. But worth it. I mean, I don't drink VR often so every bottle carries a lot of expectations. This pinot is very fresh: fruity and herbal nose. Cherrie and black currant (nose and palate). This herbal note is hard to identify. Maybe a lemongrass? Because the finish is citrus (or spicy, I'm not sure). An interesting pinot noir. — 5 years ago
I loved it! Deceptively simple, so comforting and acidic just enough to make it delicious. If Pinot is your game, than this is wine for you. You’ll love it from the first strawberry aroma. — 6 years ago
