Slamming! Perfect vintage for this wine. Jean-Marc is my hero. — 9 years ago
Experimenting with Islay, love the peat, especially as this one mellowed with the sherry cask. Bought it because Trevanian's hero in his book Eiger Sanction drank a lot of it and a skit have club member in Dawson, Yukon did so as well. — 10 years ago
Easy drinking. Berry and vanilla — 6 years ago
I generally try to keep politics or sorrow events off this platform. However, this morning we watched the McCain funeral and were genuinely moved. We should all hope for such a beautiful funeral.
Today, John McCain brought the world one final parting gift. A message of; peace, unity, love, respect and hope for our country. Let’s hope people listen and try to live their lives with a little more of each.
Today, a country grieves the loss of a great American and celebrates the life of a true American hero. We will miss you and your voice in our country’s discourse. Cheers & R.I.P John. You have certainly earned it.
I can’t think of many better bottles than to celebrate his life and his service commit to our country!

An unsung hero in Chilean SB. Always tasty — 9 years ago
Crisp!!! Wow Such a saline quality. Peaches, flowers love sniffing this one. I wish I brought some Oysters. I am not sure why I bothered with the glass. Just bring a case to your next gathering and pass out bottles. Be the hero! — 10 years ago
Whow, Rich, opulent and deep. Great wine, strawberry hero, but fruit is greatfully balanced by soft tannins & medium acidity, remarkable light but powerful like a Goliath, great Priorat. Nectar that will soothe your soul with spicy devil finish. Cheers

At a tasting on Long Island at Lenz. Amazing wines. Gerald let us taste some older vintage, my hero, but the 2013 old vine cab and 2014 malbec will rival anything I've had cheers — 7 years ago

OMG!!! I’m going to save myself some time and post these all at once. It was one of those epic nights!!!!!! LOL
8 of us began on a mystical journey of friendship, food & WINE!!
we began with five bottles of Haber which just arrived at my office yesterday! OMG! Now I only have three left! LOL!!!!!!!! I absolutely adore this wine and so did my friends. It was actually their WOTN which is a lot to say given the company it was in. I then opened a bottle of 2012 Memento Mori which was its usual opulent self!! Two of us preferred this wine over Haber but the remainder preferred Haber. I pulled this trick out of my butt from David Lentine!!!! A palate cleanser after heavy Cabernets and we opened a gorgeous Beaux Freres- The Beaux Freres Vineyard. We then got things going again with one of my favorite Chardonnays in Napa! This stuff absolutely rocks and should be bought by all. Nuf said, it’s that freaking good!!! Last but not least I decided to mix it up a little and pulled one of my favorite under the radar GSM blends that I know. Domaine de la grange des Peres. Every single one of my guests Took a sip and immediately snap their head up to say “what the heck is this! “that’s good!" You will look like a hero pouring it at anyone’s party and the cost is negligible at $95 a bottle! Bad ass in a glass as I always say. Every single one of these bottles proved to be as such! Love you guys sand cheers to you all! The individual rating for each wine was slightly different but I would say as a collective it was definitely a 9.6 type of evening.

Tonight It is time for another Pinot!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sineann Pinot Noir 2013 from Oregon. The cork is GLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The color is pure scarlet! The boquet is strawberry, cherry, rose! The initial palate is spicy cherry tart! AMAZING! There is a hint of smoke and oak. SERIOUSLY! The finish is long and spicy for a pinot with a left over flavor of cherry jubilee! My goodness, this is amazing. Probably the best Pinot Noir I have ever had. If you like my wines I promise you will like this one. What a great summer Red!
Im buying a case! Good job Peter Rosback! My new hero in wine making! I can't wait to try your Cabernet! — 9 years ago
