Drinking out of water glass so nose is flat. Little bit of cough syrup and alcohol but not much coming through for me on nose. I get cranberry juice right away, even lingers a bit. Not a ton of depth. Tasty but it doesn't last. Definitely try again. — 8 years ago

Blueberries, red fruit then alcohol hits the nostrils, hints of chocolate follow. JUICE!! This baby bring new world sauce. Wow, ripe blueberries, strawberries and plum up front. Underlying hints of cocoa come through and into the finish with a bit of spicy tobacco. Good balance for high alcohol and structure was nice, very enjoyable. Got some big new French oak, strawberry hay, dry clay, and spiked fireball candy on the nose. Ripe dark fruit right away, big tannins, this big boy needs some time to develop. Maybe a hint of cocoa on the finish after some time. Hopeful this will grow into a mature hero. — 9 years ago
