Holy shit. Sheeeit.
Nose: utterly explosive. Lemon peel. Lemon oil. Stony. Blasty white flowers.
Palate: sweet lemon. Mineral. Acidic blast. Delicious.
$30ish.
Blind this is Grand cru. Is has the density. The complexity. Better than most grand crus.
What a winemaker !

I’m getting citrus and fruity notes from this one. I am surprised I like this. It has a light body and is easy to drink. Yay — 2 years ago
OMG was this good. Surprisingly accessible in its infancy. The wine is clear and light colored red with very mild tannins. Loaded with dark berries, both the sweet and acidic side. As it got a bit more air, the 65% Zin in the blend showed through with delicious jammy-ness. The rest of this shipment go in the cellar for a least a few years.. — 5 years ago
Really enjoy as an alternative to Hahn! — 6 years ago
Nice. Fruit forward. Great mouth feel. — 7 years ago
Consumed 11/2017. I have rated this wine before, but the bottle had a different description so I am adding this one as well. When I try to look back at my previous ratings, I can’t figure out how to see what year the vintage was. That could be why the description on the bottle is different.
Robust flavors of ripe berry fruit meld harmoniously with smoky oak and subtle hints of eucalyptus and the earth. An elegant Cassis note complements the long, noble finish. — 9 years ago

Tested in at Coppola’s restaurant and bought in a wine shop in Mendocino. Had the 2022 vintage in october 2025 paired with pork. Strong and very testy. — 7 months ago
